Hey there. Stumbled upon your blog after becoming a fan of Glam Clothing on Facebook…through Amy Scott, I believe. Anyway, I just started reading some of your posts and ended up crying. Thank you for sharing your passion and your thoughts…I think the Lord has spoken to me through you this evening and I just want to thank you. I love your poetry. I have a journal full of poems that no one has seen but me…what a great outlet! I am inspired to post some of my thoughts as well!
I noticed that you follow David Walker and Rich Butler…do you go to Crossroads? We just visited there this past Sunday visiting my sister. I’m a Seacoaster myself, but I absolutely LOVED Crossroads. Will definitely be back to join in the worship whenever possible.
Anyway, just wanted to thank you for your heart and I look forward to your Glam opening!

Thank you so much for commenting. Months go by and I forget why I started this blog, but I remembered when I read your comment. It was to be A WITNESS. I am Amy Scott’s sister, by the way, and yes, I do go to crossroads. The Lord spoke to me through you, too. He is sooo good that way. Thanks.
How awesome! He is so good. You know, I started a blog last year and only made two entries before I got distracted. I am so inspired to start up again and to be able to use it as a tool to keep track of my prayers and God’s answers to those prayers. And to express myself through my poetry. I believe that I’m supposed to be a songwriter, too, but I only sing. I don’t play any instruments. The Lord is going to have to work that one out, but for some reason I know I’m supposed to keep going. Thank you for being that Witness. The entry that just hit me last night was yours about your son and for us parents to PRAY for our kids and for the battle that they are in. And you’re right, they ARE in the front lines. My daughter, Maddi (4), prays these prayers in faith that blow my mind. I want to make sure that she doesn’t lose that pure faith in His faithfullness.
That’s cool that you’re Amy’s sister! Who knew! Do you know my sister, Jen Curtis? She goes to Crossroads. Well, I can’t wait to meet you. I look forward to your store opening. Too bad I didn’t know you earlier, I’m an interior designer myself. I LOVE design and fashion fits right into that. I refuse to spend tons of money and could care less whether it’s a name brand, but why is it that designer clothing looks so great. Good design. 🙂

I have been so out of it lately with the hubbub and all the family stuff during the holidays that I barely knew that Sydney had come home. I read your blog tonite and cried reading about her homecoming. I’m so glad that you all acted just like the father of the prodigal son. How perfect! God is so pleased with you all! You are favored and blessed by Him because you imitated Him in that response. He is always pleased when we imitate anything He does!! I’m so happy for your joy. I’m so delighted for Sydney’s homecoming. I’m believing that God will make something good come out of what was not so good for awhile. He always does!
